Day 318 Espanola Island 19 December 2012

After disembarking on Espanola island we walked along the white sand shore and then snorkeled from the beach with very curious sea lions, rays, tropical fish and sea turtles. One sea turtle came so close Martijn looked it in the eye.

On the other side of the island we walked a trail and saw many albatrosses, blue footed boobies, masked/Nazca boobies, a Galapagos Hawk, and a heron.

We also saw a lot of lava lizards (the ones with a red face are females) and marine iguanas that spit if you get too close.
