After the tiring day yesterday we took it easy today. First we got our bus ticket to Arequipa, then we visited the central market of Cusco, which had not changed much in 11 years. Yes, Ana is wearing white socks with her sandals (her feet were cold), her pants, leggings and other socks were in the wash, and besides she’s American- it’s allowed!
There were still dozens of fresh juice stands where you do not get one but two refills!
As in most markets in Latin America and Asia you can find the most amazing things.
In the evening on the way to dinner (a return visit to a place that serves hearty stews) we passed the famous 12 cornered Inca stone.
