Day 305 Night Bus to Arequipa 6 December 2012

Night buses are hit or miss and last night’s was clearly a miss. It rivaled the worst bus ride ever in Vietnam. All through the night people kept on exiting and entering the bus and even though we had first class seats the door next to us kept on being used by people that did not know how to use a door and panicked. Negative highlight was when a passenger found out he had missed his stop and had a shouting contest with the bus operator at 5AM.

But in the end we arrived in Arequipa. Exhausted we changed our plans for the day and just stayed in our hostel room resting, napping, and relaxing after we had some breakfast at the central market.
