Today we set out to one of Kuala Lumpur’s main attractions, the bird park, the largest free-flying aviary in the world!
We saw an amazing amount of hornbills, a bird show, and many birds just about everywhere.
This bird was extremely loud and would not stop singing in Martijn’s ear.
Why yes it is hot and humid, how can you tell? Besides Martijn’s ability to sleep anywhere Ana is also desperately jealous of his ability to not sweat profusely from his face.
Martijn deserved an award for his photographic skills- or for being able to capture the most unflattering pictures of Ana!
How else was she supposed to react when a bird lands on her head?!?!
After lunch and some more bird exploring we booked some bus tickets and got Martijn a haircut.
We then headed out again to the Petronas twin towers- this time to get a nice view of them.
After some window shopping and after trying out an interesting Japanese concept fast-food spot at the food court (raw beef, corn and rice sizzling on your hot cast-iron plate) we went back to our guest house (which was furnished a la IKEA- it felt like home) for some rest.
