Five minutes past midnight we landed in Malaysia and our passports were stamped out of Thailand on July 5 and into Malaysia on July 6. We finally arrived at our guesthouse at 2am. After sleeping in until noon and waking up to the full effects of a Thai massage (we felt like a little old lady had walked all over us-and in fact she did) we had some breakfast, arranged some cash at a local ATM and had some Indian food for lunch. Then we explored the city a bit, leading us to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre), the impressive mall under the Petronas Twin towers.
Martijn had been here 15 years ago, and his favorite cafe from that visit, San Francisco Coffee, still existed, in fact it was celebrating its 15 years anniversary!
