Today we explored the Argentinean side of the Iguazu falls. We were told that we would get wet since this side provides an up close view of the waterfalls, so we wore bathing suits. However it was only us that were sweating waterfalls because of the heat and the humidity!
Absolute highlight again was the Devil’s Throat that gave us a dizzying up close view, or as the Lonely Planet phrases it “as close as it gets to the medieval view of falling of the edge of the flat world”.
After returning by train we took a little boat to San Martin Island for more beautiful views. We saw a Plush Crested Jay among others.
Martijn was lucky enough to have a butterfly land on his face!
Later we took the other two walks (lower and upper circuit), giving us amazing views from beneath and above the water falls.
