After the second night bus in a row we finally arrived at Puerto Iguazu. After a shower and some lunch we decided to use the remainder of the day to visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Waterfalls. We were a bit worried since for Americans a visa is needed to enter Brazil and we did not have it. There were some conflicting stories around about whether the Brazilian immigration allowed a day trip or not. We took a chance and were lucky enough since the bus bypassed the Brazilian immigration after stopping at the Argentinean border control!
Our trip was surely worth it, since the Brazilian side shows off the best panoramic views of the falls, which appear to be almost endless.
We saw a lot of Coati. They appear cute but are rather ferocious and carry rabies so we stayed far away from them.
The Devil’s Throat was most spectacular since we could take this walkway and end up close to the falls.
