Day 356 Space Shuttle 26 January 2013

After lunch we saw Ana’s brother perform in his band.

We visited the science center with Judy, Alan and baby Ethan to see the retired Endeavor, the last of the space shuttle program. We saw the impressive ship and were allowed to touch the tires that had been in outer space.

  

  

  

  

  

 

After we had a sandwich for a quick dinner.

Later on we met Tara for a drink and desert.

Day 355 Book Signing 25 January 2013

Ana and her mom spent a long time in a very long line to get the Honorable Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor. 

  

  

After they got the signature we had a nice little dinner across the street.  

  

Day 354 Stick 24 January 2013

Everyday involves playing with Maggie the Dog. Sometimes it involves Maggie the Dog fetching a very large stick at the park. 

This game however can be dangerous since Martijn managed to hit Ana on the head with this gigantic stick! In his defense he did yell out a name in warning, too bad it was Maggie the Dog’s name!

In the evening we had a nice dinner with Ana’s brother. 

Day 353 Lazy Day 23 January 2013

Today was a slow and lazy day. After a run, even Maggie the Dog was too tired to move.

Day 352 Dinner with Friends 22 January 2013

Today we had dinner with Diane and Mike at a salad bar with great lemonade and very interesting salads.

Day 351 Family Day 21 January 2013

The day started with a relaxing lunch with the entire family.

Day 350 Art Villa 20 January 2013

Today we visited an art villa that was modeled after a mansion in Pompei.

Day 349 A Day to Remember 19 January 2012

At the time of writing this, two days later, we cannot remember for the life of us what we have done today! We don’t even have photographic evidence to assist us in remembering. This makes us happy we have the blog for this past year!

Day 348 Golf 18 January 2013

Maggie reluctantly received a trim and a wash from Ana. 

Then we played a round of golf. Ana was on fire! She scored her first PAR 3 ever.

Today we met up with Donna and Joey for the best burgers so far in our trip!

Day 346 Blast from the Past 16 January 2013

Ana experienced a blast from the past today. We had dinner with Megan, her old elementary school class mate, she had not seen since 1996.
